Warning!! The risks of dating/marrying me are greater than the benefits.

I've been thinking about relationships lately, and I am curious about a few things. So many people pride themselves in being a "Strong Black Woman", but who are you working so hard to convince? Wouldn't it make sense to work smarter, not harder? We, black women, have always felt the need to work harder. Why? Yes, we need to take the best possible care of our families. Yes, we should support our families financially. However, whats wrong with holding the men {and I use that term loosely} in our lives responsible? Now don't take that statement and run with it! I'm not talking child support. I want to know why more focus is not placed on grooming great wives, than just good baby mommas. Submitting to a man really isn't a bad idea if done for the right reasons. Do I enjoy cooking and cleaning? NO! However, I would become Martha Stewart for the right man. I know what I am capable of and I'm tired of proving myself to people who could really care less.
